Junior Court Assistant - Supreme Court - Exam Analysis 2022 and Expected Cut-off
Supreme Court of India has successfully conducted objective and typing tests for JCA in 4 shifts on 26 and 27 September.
Objective exam had 125 questions and 2 hr time limit. It had 50 questions from English, 25 from Mathematics, 25 from General Knowledge and 25 from Computer. After the completion of Objective, Students were given a 30 minutes break, during which they could check their system, whether it was working property and whether the keyboard was properly functioning. They were also given a passage to practice their typing during this break. Exactly after 30 minutes the typing test started, it was 10 min long.
Required typing speed was 35 wpm with at least 97% accuracy.
Breakdown of Objective Paper of Shift-2 of 26 September (memory based)

Breakdown of Typing test -
One passage with 650 words (5 letters/keystrokes excluding space formed one word) was given, there were no numbers Or special characters, backspace was active. Well, depending on keyboard your backspace might be of normal (long) or small (same size as letters), so before appearing in the exam, do try your hand on both type of keyboards.
Expected Cut-off
General - 75 - 80
After objective and typing, two more rounds remain. Descriptive Paper and Interview.
Descriptive contains Comprehension, Precis writing in 150 words and Essay in 600 words.
